Kindle Account Troubleshooting



Kindle Account lost or stolen.
Deregister Kindle via the Manage Your Kindle page

Kindle does not have owner's name on home screen.

Possible cause:
  • Kindle not registered, or registered to different account.
  1. Deregister the Kindle
  2. Register the Kindle

Note: The name on the Kindle will default to the first name on your Amazon.com account. You can change the name on the Manage Your Kindle page.
